Specifications & Dimensions
Specifications Brand Mean Well Dimensions Located Below Specifications Table IP Rating SpecificationsIP (International or Ingress Protection) defines a products level of resistance to dust and moisture. The first digit is for dust and the second digit is for moisture.
Anything higher than IP44 can be used in bathroom zones 1 and 2. IP44 is splash proof and resistance to particles larger than 1mm.
An IP65 rating offers a higher resistance to moisture and is generally used outdoors. IP65 is usually specified for bathroom downlights but according to the Building Regulations, IP44 provides adequate protection.
An IP68 rating is fully water resistant and can be submersed in water, up to 1M in depth.
IP67 Operation Mode SpecificationsConstant voltage LED drivers have a 12V or 24V DC output voltage. They are mainly used to power LED tape and smaller LED lights.
Constant current LED drivers have a 350mA or 700mA output. They are used to power more specialised LED fittings that require a precise current.
Many other output voltages and currents are avaialble but these are the most popular examples.
Constant Voltage Output Voltage SpecificationsLED drivers have an input and output voltage. The input voltage is usually mains voltage (230V AC) and the output voltage is usually 12V or 24V DC.
Constant voltage LED drivers are regulalry used with LED tape and have a constant, regulated voltage.

Wired it to 5m of LED1265730CW/ 24v and nothing happened. Do I need to use the adjustments covered by rubber grommets?Question by: Boyd on 29 Apr 2022, 18:30At 26W per metre, the driver needs to be rated at: 130W and be 24V DC.
You shouldn't have to adjust any of the settings under the rubber grommets.
If you could check all of the connections and then possibly send us a picture, we might be able to spot something.
Otherwise you might have a faulty driver or LED tape which needs replacing. This is rare but can happen.Answer by: Chris Horridge (Admin) on 30 Apr 2022, 09:11Could I use this as a replacement PSU for a Philips Hue Lightstrip. I want to replace existing lighting on kitchen cabinets on 5A lighting circuit. I could cut off low voltage plug from Philips PSU or get similar sized plugs.Question by: Alan Douglas on 14 Nov 2024, 13:51We don't do the Hue so I'm not sure on their specs. As long as the voltage and wattage/amperage matches you should be fine, however I can't confirm 100%Answer by: Mathew Smith (Admin) on 14 Nov 2024, 14:19 -
