Product Questions & Answers
Hi, I would like to install these into my kitchen floor. Questions:
1 - are they dimmable
2 - would they work with a Rako driver
3 - is there a maximum cable length from driver to LED? If so, what is it?
ThanksQuestion by: Rob White on 9 Jan 2023, 22:17Please find answers below:
1. Yes, with a dimmable driver like this:
https://www.downlights.co.uk/leyton-12v-led-drivers-top6.html
or this:
https://www.downlights.co.uk/triac-dimmable-led-drivers-15w.html - this requires a minimum load of 0.75W which is 2 lights.
2. Yes, a Rako dimming receiver could be used to dim them
3. If your run is particularly long, like over 10M, you could use a thicker cable.
Answer by: Chris Horridge (Admin) on 10 Jan 2023, 04:23What is the overall dimension of the light ? The diameter is 25 mm but what is the depth ?Question by: Ken on 21 Mar 2023, 08:56The depth is 30mmAnswer by: Chris Horridge (Admin) on 21 Mar 2023, 09:17Hi
Your spec says two or more of these should be connected in series . Is this correct or should they be in parallel?Question by: Ken on 21 Mar 2023, 12:41The Jena is constant voltage and wired in parallel.
An older Q&A recommends a minimum of 2 with a dimmable driver.Answer by: Chris Horridge (Admin) on 21 Mar 2023, 15:19Do you need a transformer with this lightQuestion by: Najma Kauser on 19 Aug 2023, 00:40Yes, they operate on 12V DC and require one of these drivers:
