Varilight V-Pro Multi-Point touch dimmer switches (formally Eclique 2). This new range is now modular meaning it can be interchanged and used in a grid format along with other switches such as slaves or and off switches.
The design has changed from the older blue ring to a new rectangular shaped button with a smaller infra-red receiver in the centre. It now has separate up and down buttons rather than the touch control which dimmed or brightened the lights in the opposite setting if you'd dimmed the lights with press one press two would brighten them.
Powered by Varilight's market leading V-Pro LED dimming technology, it is designed for use with dimmable LED lights although it will still work with incandescent and halogen. Available in a variety of finishes including brushed steel polished chrome premium white and premium black and will no doubt add a modern touch to your interiors.
They are also fitted with an infra-red receiver which allows you to sit back and relax whilst controlling your lighting ambiance with Varilights YRE8 scene controller, or it can be tuned into your Sky+ remote.

Product Questions & Answers
Hi,
I need to replace some TouchLite dimmer switches (which I believe are about 35 years old) that were made by R Hamilton & Co . The switches are configured to work in pairs as two-way switches. I am wondering if the "Varilight V-Pro Multi-Point Touch Dimmer Switches" would be suitable replacements. The metal box set in the wall that the current switches fit into is only about 15mm deep. Given that the boxes are set back about 5mm from the surface of the wall the maximum depth available for the switches to fit into is about 20mm. I couldn't see on your website any information about the depth required for the Varilight V-Pro Multi-Point Touch Dimmer Switches. Are you able to advise if they are suitable replacements, electrically and physically?
ThanksQuestion by: David Ellis on 29 Jan 2023, 17:49These would be suitable as a replacement, however they would require a 25mm minimum back box. I don't know of a similar product that requires less.Answer by: Mathew Smith (Admin) on 30 Jan 2023, 16:07What IP rating are they and are they suitable for a bathroomQuestion by: Mick Harrison on 18 May 2023, 13:25They're only IP20 rated, which isn't water or dust resistant, so not suitable for use inside a bathroom.
You could use either of the following:
Lightwave

You'd need a hub, wire-less switch, then either a non dimmable relay or a smart switch.
Kinetic switch

With receiver
