Unveiling the Benefits of Plaster In Recessed Downlights
Opting for plaster in recessed downlights brings a host of advantages to your lighting design:

- Versatile Illumination: Despite their discreet appearance, trimless downlights deliver powerful, adjustable lighting to suit any mood or task.
- Design Flexibility: Available in various shapes, sizes, and configurations, these fixtures adapt to diverse interior styles and lighting needs.
- Energy Efficiency: Many models incorporate LED technology, ensuring long-lasting, cost-effective illumination.
Choosing the Perfect Trimless Downlight
When selecting your plaster in recessed downlights, consider these key factors:
Shape and Size: From circular to square designs, choose a shape that complements your room's geometry. Size options range from subtle pinpoints to larger fixtures for statement lighting.
Light Source: Decide between integrated LED modules for streamlined efficiency or GU10 fittings for flexible bulb options. Each has its merits, so consider your long-term lighting goals.
Adjustability: Fixed trimless downlights offer a clean look, while adjustable options allow you to direct light where it's needed most. Your choice depends on the room's function and desired ambiance.
Fire Rated: A must have specification for domestic use, if in doubt fit fire rated or contact us to discuss your individual requirements.

How to Install Plaster In Downlights?
Installation instructions will vary depending on the brand, hole size and whether the cut out size is round or square.
- Cut the hole into the ceiling using a hole saw for round downlights.
Or use a saw for square downlights. - Prepare your cables, wiring connectors are recommended as they make wiring easier and allow you to disconnect part of the fitting for maintenance.
- Place and secure the downlight into position. This requires screws with some models.
- Plaster over the downlight, this will make the downlight look just like the rest of your ceiling.
- Complete the wiring. If you've used a wiring connector, you should be able to plug the corresponding connector into your circuit.
- Paint your ceiling, your downlights and ceiling will now completely match each other without any clunky looking lights in your space.
