Our new and improved outdoor LED strip tape is rated at IP68 and is fully water and dust resistant. Fully encapsulated inside a silicone tube, it's ideal for use externally and can even be submersed under water up to 3 metres. The silicone tube also provides more protection for the arduous outdoor conditions.
Available in three popular single colour temperatures of 2700K extra warm white, 3000K warm white and 4000K cool white. It is also available in RGB colour changing as well as our new IP68 RGBW and RGBWW strips. RGBW LED tape is a combination of RGB colour changing and a dedicated 4000K LED chip in the same row of LED chips. This offers colour changing effects and a true cool white in one neat LED strip. The RGBWW version contains a dedicated 3000K LED chip. These types of LED tapes are becoming increasingly popular as they provide superior mood lighting effects and proper white light.
Another key feature of our outdoor LED strip tape is that it has high CRI LED chips, with a CRI90 rating they reproduce colours more effectively and produce a superior quality of light. This is made possible with our premium SMD2835 Epistar LED chips.
As part of our own LED Strip Fit brand of products we can supply outdoor LED tape in bespoke made to measure to the lengths that you require, including soldered input cables. This way no wastage is necessary and valuable time can be saved on site. Please note that no push on connectors are available for this range and the total meterage ordered online will be sent as a single length up to 10M. If you wish to cut this into multiple lengths then you would be required to solder a new connection onto the tape and seal it accordingly.

Wattage Consumption & LED Driver Loading
- The standard output with 60 LEDs per metre version is 14.4 watts per metre. This also includes the 60 LEDs per metre RGB tape.
- The high output RGB with 96 LEDs per metre RGBW and RGBWW tapes are 23 watts per metre.
To select the correct LED driver (also known as an LED power supply or LED transformer) follow these 4 rules:
1. The voltage of the LED tape must be the same as the LED driver. If the LED tape is 12V the LED driver must be 12V.
2. The wattage rating of the LED driver must be big enough to carry the full load of the LED tape or tapes that you're connected to it. Our LED drivers can be loaded to 100% a 60W driver means 60W.
3. If you want dimmable single colour LED tape you'll need a dimmable LED driver and LED compatible dimmer switch. Colour changing and colour temperature adjustable LED tapes require a non dimmable driver dimming is done by a controller.
4. If in doubt please contact us with your requirements and we'll get back to you quickly and answer any other questions you have.

Specifications
Specifications Beam Angle SpecificationsEvery light source from an LED to a simple wax candle has a beam angle. A beam angle is a measurement of how the light is distributed. GU10 LEDs and recessed downlights have a fairly narrow beam of around 40 degrees, anything within 5 degrees is classed as a medium beam.
A wax candle or traditional light bulb would have a beam angle of 360 degrees as the light shines all the way around but is less intense.
Combing brighter downlights with wider 60 degree beams allows you to space them out further, reducing the total amount of lights needed.

120 Degrees Brand LED Strip Fit CRI 90 Ra Cap Type Integrated LED Colour Temperature SpecificationsColour temperature is a measurement of appearance. Measured in Kelvins, the lower the rating, the warmer the light appears. Choosing the right temperature can have a dramatic effect on a room.
2700K - Extra Warm White
Similar to a traditional incandescent light bulb or halogen. It has a more orange and warmer tone, with a ‘soft white’ appearance. Ideal for living rooms.
3000K - Warm White
Clearer, but still quite warm. This is the ‘new norm’ for general lighting and is the most popular option. If you’re unsure I’d recommend trying this one.
4000K - Cool White
Clearer, whiter and crisp; used in commercial locations including supermarkets. Cool white appears brighter than warm white as the LED is covered in less phosphor. It can make a room appear cold and clinical but used correctly (white walls etc) it can make a room appear cleaner and modern.

Dimmable Yes IP Rating SpecificationsIP (International or Ingress Protection) defines a products level of resistance to dust and moisture. The first digit is for dust and the second digit is for moisture.
Anything higher than IP44 can be used in bathroom zones 1 and 2. IP44 is splash proof and resistance to particles larger than 1mm.An IP65 rating offers a higher resistance to moisture and is generally used outdoors. IP65 is usually specified for bathroom downlights but according to the Building Regulations, IP44 provides adequate protection. An IP68 rating is fully water resistant and can be submersed in water, up to 1M in depth.IP68 Life Expectancy 50,000 Hours Pack Rate Product Type LED Tape Sku LEDST602835IP68* Voltage 24V DC Warranty 5 Years -
